2022 Sangiovese
The Kriselle Cellars 2022 Estate-grown Sangiovese
boasts all of its Old World Italian background while
introducing vibrancy and fruit qualities that are
congruent with wines of the New World. In this
vintage, we find notes of fresh berries, cedar, savory
herbs, and a hint of spice. Lively acidity is mediumplus,
the body is medium, and mild tannins create
solid structure. While pleasing on its own, this wine is
impeccable for a variety of culinary pairings. Our 2022
Sangiovese is an ideal partner to smoked or cured
meats (we adore with prosciutto) and delicious when
paired with Italian dishes featuring ripe tomatoes and
garden herbs such as oregano and thyme.
